April Hendricks is a shareholder at the Firm. She focuses her practice in the areas of water, environmental, and natural resources law.

April earned her J.D. from the University of Mississippi School of Law, where she was a member of the Mississippi Law Journal and the Policy and Legislation Legal Clinic. During law school, she received academic awards for Environmental Law, Administrative Law, Environmental & Toxic Torts, and Conflicts of Laws and was also awarded first-place in the American Bar Association – Section on Energy, Environment, and Resources’ Environmental Justice National Writing Competition, resulting in publication in the Mississippi Law Journal. Throughout law school, April gained significant experience in environmental and natural resources law while interning with the National Sea Grant Law Center and the Mississippi-Alabama Sea Grant Legal Program. April also spent two summers with a Denver water law firm, where she worked as an attorney for six years prior to joining Burns, Figa & Will.

April is originally from El Dorado, Arkansas. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, photography, traveling, and spending time with her family and three dogs.
