Bernard Gehris devotes his practice to water law, environmental law, agricultural law and general litigation. He represents agricultural and municipal water providers, including special districts. He is a frequent lecturer on rural environmental due diligence matters.
Prior to law school, Mr. Gehris was a litigation paralegal with a national law firm in matters involving insurance contracts and natural resources. He also served as a commercial agricultural loan officer for a major insurance company active in Rocky Mountain states.
Mr. Gehris is admitted to practice law in the State of Colorado. He is a member of the Arapahoe County Bar Association, the Colorado Bar Association, and the American Bar Association.
Mr. Gehris also currently serves as a member on The Children’s Hospital Colorado Oncology Advisory Committee, and is on the board of the Havana Water and Sanitation District, and the Cherry Creek Vista Park and Recreation District.
Mr. Gehris was born in Joliet, Illinois. He enjoys reading, bicycling, hiking, skiing and spending time in the great outdoors with his family.
